Mariestads-Tidningen is part of Erna Media, a company within the Erna Group that has a clear growth strategy for the coming years. Within the group, we operate in local journalism, marketing, distribution, and property management. We are present in Skaraborg, Dalsland, and Värmland.

Our strongest sustainability tool is journalism, where our editorial teams work daily to monitor and engage in issues related to freedom of expression and other sustainability-related matters.

About the Role

We have openings for general reporters, local editors, sports reporters, or livedesk reporters.

As a livedesk reporter, you will take significant responsibility for our quick news and emergency reporting.

About You

We are looking for someone who is an educated journalist or perhaps currently studying journalism and needs a summer job. Previous experience at a local newspaper is a plus.

We are looking for substitutes for the main editorial office in Mariestad and for our local editorial offices in Töreboda and Gullspång.

A driver's license is required.
